A Guest Lecture on topic “Roles of AI and Geospatial Modeling in Social Sciences”
A Guest Lecture on topic “Roles of AI and Geospatial Modeling in Social Sciences” was organised by OIA on 9th April 2026. The initiative aimed to strengthen academic collaboration between Amity University Haryana and the University of Texas at Dallas through avenues such as joint research, faculty and student exchange, and interdisciplinary learning, while promoting global exposure, innovation, and the integration of AI and geospatial tools in the social sciences.
The BRICS Youth ESG Dialogue aimed to establish a structured and impactful platform for youth, scholars, and academics across BRICS and partner nations to engage in meaningful discourse on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles within the broader framework of sustainable development. Jointly organized by the Amity Centre of BRICS Studies (ACBS), Amity University Haryana, and TV BRICS International Media Network, the event sought to align academic dialogue with India’s BRICS Presidency 2026 priorities.
The collaboration between ACBS and TV BRICS under the MoU underscored the importance of institutional partnerships in driving impactful global dialogue. The envisaged outcomes of strengthening academic collaboration with the University of Texas at Dallas, promoting interdisciplinary research, and integrating AI and geospatial tools into social sciences added a forward-looking dimension to the initiative. Overall, the event not only reinforced academic and diplomatic linkages but also highlighted the transformative role of youth-led, globally connected discourse in addressing contemporary challenges and shaping a sustainable future.
