Research Interests
"AMR & Pathogen Genomics: Study the evolution of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in WHO-priority pathogens using NGS and molecular tools, focusing on transmission mechanisms like plasmid-borne MCR-1.
Pharmaceutical Innovations: To combat resistant infections, develop advanced formulations (e.g., fluconazole gels, oligosaccharides) and combination therapies (plant peptides + antibiotics).
Public Health & Nutrition: Investigate gut microbiome dynamics, nutritional interventions for pediatric patients, and emerging pathogens (e.g., STEC O157) to inform tailored healthcare strategies."
