Overview - ASET

Established in 2007, Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) offers a rich set of programs filled with modern engineering and technical courses and cover a whole spectrum of engineering and technological aspects. ASET offers courses in streams, including Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering,, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electronics & Electrical Engineering as well as modern streams like Solar & Alternative Energy. ASET offers a range of programs from Undergraduate to Doctoral level.

Modern technology has revolutionized the way of living. Technology is building bridges among people, bringing citizens from different cultures and backgrounds close to each other. Technology has indeed seeped into our lives to make our surroundings comfortable. It has made people capable of doing what even could not be thought of a few years ago. These changes were made possible due to continuous efforts of scientists and technocrats who nurtured an environment conducive to learning and living with modern engineering.

Established in 2011, Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT) offers widely acclaimed courses on Information Technology viz Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Science in Network Technology and Management (M.Sc.- NTM), Master of Science in Cyber Security (M.Sc. - Cyber Security), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B. Sc. - IT) as well as an integrated program BCA & MCA of five years. AIIT also offers Doctoral programs.

We are living in an ever-changing world due to rapid advances in technology. Information Technology is at the helm of these changes and development. AIIT was established to foster talent who can excel in this high growth area. To keep students abreast of latest computer science developments, the curriculum is updated and vetted by Industry Advisory Boards with emphasis on practical training. AIIT also has multiple technical collaborations with professional bodies and IT industry.

AIIT curriculum covers areas like Cyber Security, Networking, Multimedia, Web Designing, Algorithm design, Database management, , Data Warehousing, Artificial Intelligence among others. AIIT with its excellent infrastructure and centrally air-conditioned labs with latest software technology trains students into qualified efficient computer professionals.

Students’ interest and active participation in the institute is very strong and growing across all programs. Our teaching pedagogy promotes a spirit of free and objective enquiry in the fields of Computer Applications and IT.
