The Law School has also been organizing seminars and workshops on contemporary legal issues on a regular basis. Some of the recent ones are:

In the previous years, the following were the major activities of Amity Law School, Delhi:-

  • Organized the 11th Annual National Amity Moot Court Competition for 3 days during March, 2012.
  • We had organized the National Rounds (North Zone) of the prestigious Philip C Jessup International Moot Court Competition during January 20th, 21st and 22nd, 2012.
  • A seminar on Personality Development by Mr. Arun Mohan, Sr. Advocate.
  • Workshops on ‘Embarking on a Moot Journey – the quintessential tripod of Research, Drafting & Oral Presentation’ in August and September 2009.
  • Workshop on Private International Law in October 2009.
  • The Legal Aid Cell of Amity Law School, New Delhi hosted a Legal Awareness Programme over two days for Women employed in the Un-organised Sector in collaboration with The National Commission for Women, Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary, MARG and SEWA.
  • We had organized a Compulsory Moot Court Training for the students by involving our Alumni who had participated and won prizes in various moot court competitions in India and abroad.
  • Quiz Society (ALDQS) has organized quiz competition to select teams to participate in quiz contexts organized by other institutions.
  • Seminar on ADR (Alternate Dispute Resolution) to ODR (Online Dispute Resolution).

  • Law Day Seminar on “Media, Sting Operation and Privacy Law – The Regulatory Dilemma" .
  • Law Day Seminar on “Alternative Dispute Resolution in the Era of Globalization”.
  • Seminar on ‘Effects of Smoking’.
  • Seminar on International Arbitration by Prof. Doug Jones, President, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Doug Jones is an international infrastructure and dispute resolution lawyer, and a Sydney-based partner in the Australian law firm of Clayton Utz, where he heads the International Arbitration Group.
  • As part of our Debate Club activity, we organized a debate on the topic- "Legal Sanctity and Relevance of Live In Relationships in the 21st Century".
  • Seminar on Legal Opportunities in Air force by Wing Com. Bhalla and Air Commodore PC Grover (Retd.).
  • Presentation by Pangea-3 on Legal Opportunities available to the students.
  • Lecture by Mr. Senthil, Rainmaker on Legal Opportunities available to the students.
  • Organized an Intra ALS Model United Nations Conference for representing the "Collective Security Mechanism" agenda as a part of General Assembly (I).
  • Presentation about the study culture and the Post Study Work options available to students after Post Graduation by Dr. Deemot, Dean Law Faculty University of Bangore situated in Wales which is one of the traditional Universities Established in 1884.
  • Organized a 3-day Orientation Programme for the newly admitted students.
  • A seminar on Personality Development by Mr. Ashok Arora, Sr. Advocate.
  • Prof. Taranjeet Duggal has been addressing the students on Personality Development and Personality Trends on a regular basis.
