Computer lab

  •  Equipped with the latest software and hardware, the computer lab provides students with access to technology to support their research and academic work.

Conference room

  • AIBAS has a well-functioning conference room where students and faculty members discuss various topics in depth once a week.
  • Research topics and case discussions that are observed by students at OPD are done for facilitating knowledge amongst students.

Seminar Hall

  • Inquisitive guest lectures are held, where personalities from varied backgrounds are invited to share their knowledge on respective interest areas.


  • Various updated standardized tools such as; VSMS, WAIS-IV, MACI, MCMI, WISC, CAT etc. for psychodiagnosis and learning purposes.


  • The library at AIBAS is well-stocked with books, journals, and research papers in the field of psychology. It is equipped with a computer system and internet facility to help students access the latest research work in their area of interest.

AIBAS is sincerely dedicated to create trained human wealth in the fields demanding behavioural understanding and interventions. The school ensures an effective teaching-learning environment through continuous integration of training, field exposure, observations and research.

According to the National Mental Health Survey (NMHS, 2016), there is an immense need of mental health professionals in the country. Eventually, with the programmes like B.A. Applied Psychology, post-graduate courses and MPhil in Clinical Psychology, the school will be a great support to the nation for bridging the gap between the required and available mental health professionals.


Classrooms & Labs

The instructions in various courses are mainly transacted through interactive classroom teaching, intensive student-teacher interaction, assignments, group discussions, seminars, extension lectures, practical training in testing, experiments and computers. Besides field and lab training, students also undertake a project/dissertation on contemporary issues in organizations, social, clinical, health, and counselling, under the guidance of able faculty members.

Well Equipped Psychology Labs

AIBAS has a well-equipped laboratory with more than 150 latest testing instruments like Biofeedback, AIIMS Neuropsychological battery, Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS), Malins Intelligence Scale for Indian Children (MISIC), Developmental Screening Test (DST) and Vineland Social Maturity Scale (VSMS).

The department facilitates the assessments of various psychological capitals of the individuals such as intelligence, cognitive abilities, personality, aptitude, leadership skills etc. at its clinical psychology laboratory.

With a view to diagnose psychological disorders among people, the department also facilitates the assessment of various emotional and behavioural problems like anxiety, depression, phobia, OCD, ADHD, severe mental disorders such as schizophrenia, psychosis, BPAD etc. across the generations. In addition to lab activities, industrial visits, field trips and theme-based events in each semester, many workshops and guest lectures are conducted each month by eminent experts of the field to update students with recent developments, trends and best practices.

The well-equipped psychology laboratory aids in practical training of the budding psychologists and in carrying out high-quality research work. AIBAS also runs a testing cell where members of Amity University, Madhya Pradesh can get their psychological attributes assessed to get deeper insights into their mental health and seek directions for improvement. It conducts regular sessions on topics like stress management, life skills in different schools of the university.


Counselling Cell

The Amity Institute of Behavioural and Allied Sciences, AIBAS, has established the ‘Counselling Cell’ for students, faculties and staff all over the university campus. This cell facilitates the practical training and clinical exposure of the students and provides mental health services within the campus. It has provisions of psycho-diagnostic assessment, psychotherapeutic management of psychological problems, psychotherapeutic intervention and counselling.

Counsellors also offer talk therapy and help in addressing life problems in a positive way by clarifying the issues, exploring options, developing strategies and increasing self-awareness.
