 Hands-on Training Workshop on Tablet Punching Machine

 
Amity Institute of Pharmacy, AUMP organized a “Hands on Training Workshop on Tablet Punching Machine” on30.06.2022 from 12:35 to 1:30 pm. The training was initiated by Mr Yogesh R. Trivedi, Senior Engineer, Karnavati Engineering Limited, Ahmedabad, Gujrat. He has given an overview of Mini press-II (Tablet Punching Machine) by showing the tablet press setup and explaining the merits of the product, steps of operation and maintenance. He has also shown the mantling and dismantling of the tablet punching machine. Different operations such as filling, compressing and ejaculation of tablets were shown to participants. Mr. Yogesh has detailed the troubleshooting of common tablet press issues and basic preventative maintenance. 
 
The faculty members, non-teaching and B.Pharm students of AIP have participated in the workshop enthusiastically. The workshop was attended by 18 faculty members, 6 non-teaching staff and 15 B.Pharm students. The session provides a comprehensive understanding of the processes that impact tablet production, including a hands-on session on how to set up, operate, and clean a tablet press. The program was organized by the Department of Pharmaceutics. This programme was successfully planned and organized with the coordination of Dr. S. Mohana Lakshmi, Director, AIP, AUMP.
