She has recently published a research paper on 'Mud Architecture' that is a low-cost, feasible and locally available material. Her research paper cited mud as the main material, its limitations and eminence in the housing sector.
She advocated use of local materials (which are economical and feasible) over modern materials (that are way too common and require lots of energy for production and need to be transported to construction sites). The local materials are affordable and within the limits of lower middle class and unprivileged masses.
Originated from the earth and that can be used naturally or after addition of a few types of stabilizers or adhesives, the local materials used in 'Earth Architecture' was a rage in ancient era since it was environment-friendly substance.
The mud houses can be a boon to architecture if the technique is revived at a large scale.
