Since 2004, October has been designated as Cybersecurity Awareness Month. The National Cybersecurity Alliance and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) have joined forces to co-lead this effort, which aims to assist people in protecting themselves online as threats to technology and private information. The Computer Science and Engineering Department of Amity School of Engineering and Technology hosted a Cyber Crime Prevention and Detection Seminar on October 17, 2022, in honour of this milestone. The speaker invited was Adv. Pankaj Bafna. He interacted with the students, shared his knowledge with them and gave advice on how to defend against cyberattacks.
