The Department of Civil Engineering had arranged a site visit to civil engineering students to Ultra-tech RMC plant, Kone gaon, near Panvel on 2nd Decemebr 2022. This visit was helpful for students to gain practical knowledge on the importance of safety at construction and manufacturing sites. Materials specification and batching of ready-mix concrete(RMC) Operations of RMC plant including loading, quality checking, testing etc. Recycling of concrete debris from transit mixers, carried out at the site.
