(Masters of Journalism and Mass Communication)
During my internship in Amity School of Communication, AUUP, I was given a great opportunity to work on a project with WCCB, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change to showcase the activities done and steps
taken by WCCB for the protection of wildlife in India through 20 short films.
While making those films I learned and worked on many filmmaking and editing techniques. We also went to Kolkata with our team and faculties to shoot in WCCB office, where we not only worked on film shooting but also
learned a lot about the illegal trade of many species of mammals, sea animals, birds, insects and reptiles. The experience gained through actual field work, definitely strengthened the individual knowledge base, required
to work efficiently, in this industry. This project helped us sharpen our film-making, editing, and anchoring skills, among many others, making us ready for professional work. This training and practice made us confident
enough to face industrial challenges in the near future.
