Message from Assistant Director (Academics & Research)

The need to develop and converse beyond traditional and different mediums is more wanted than ever before as the media and communication industries evolve with the new paradigms of technology and the digital age. An institution that intends to develop young eager minds in the media sector at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels must answer the emerging needs of a new era. Amity School of Communication provides the right setting for developing abilities, harnessing ideas, and inspiring innovation. All of ASCO's programs are specifically designed to prepare young people for careers in the booming media industry. ASCO instructors and staff engage in creating the potential for each and every student using state-of-the-art infrastructures such as a Hi-Tech Studio, a community radio station, photography labs, and a Chroma studio.
As all media organizations are becoming more digitally engaged, journalists, filmmakers, public relations professionals, and media managers are transforming their traditional positions into digital avatars that allow high levels of user involvement. As a result, today's media professionals must be able to package content in a variety of ways for end-users.
The Amity School of Communication's (ASCO) programs prepare students to provide the understanding and grounded approach required to address the subtleties of this ever-changing paradigm.
With 1700 students, ASCO is the country's largest media school, offering nine programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, with specialties in journalism and mass communication, advertising and marketing management, public relations, and event management. All programs include mandatory industry involvement, real projects, field visits, skill-building courses, and internships, as well as a vibrant place for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Dr. Jolly Jose,

Assistant Director (Academics & Research)
