Message from Joint Acting Heads of ASCO

We live in a world which has been transformed by digital technology. This offers a plethora of prospects for communication professionals who require the skill sets and the understanding to leverage the benefits of the communication revolution. This needs to be done keep keeping in mind the criticality of the media in balancing social responsibility with financial gains to ensure a pluralistic society.

Considering that all media organisations are becoming digitally active, the traditional roles of journalists, filmmakers, PR professionals and media managers are getting transformed into their digital avatars which provide high levels of user engagement. Media professionals today therefore require the ability and skills to package information in various ways for the end users.

The programmes at Amity school of Communication (ASCO) equip students to provide the understanding and grounded approach that is required to tackle the nuances of this constantly evolving paradigm.
