Management Vista: A Monthly E- News Letter of ABS

Today's professionals are required to be generalists and not just specialists, leaders and not just managers, thinkers and not just problem-solvers. Keeping this thought in mind, ABS has evolved diversified set of activities, which are embedded into the academic programmes ensuring to impart the optimal mix of theory and practice for overall enrichment of the students. Keeping this in mind as well as considering the expectations of all our stakeholders, we often organize activities like Personality Development and Skill Development Sessions, Business Communication and Behavioural Science Workshops and several industry-institute collaborative programmes.

Since there is so much happening at our ever-on-move Amity Business School, we strive to chronicle all activities and make memories. With this motto, we launched our first e- newsletter named ‘Management Vista’ in October 2014.

The thriving campus of Amity Business School at Amity University, Madhya Pradesh makes students feel at home. Amity Business School maintains a strong Academic – Industry Interaction so that the students can interact with industry and learn the best. Students of Amity Business School undertake their summer internship programmes with reputed organizations and learn the know-how of the industry. During their summer internship programmes, the students work with the industry as interns under the mentorship of industry managers and understand the functioning of the industry. Apart from this the students also undertake some live projects with the industry. Amity Business School students also go for Industry visits to different organizations as a part of their course curriculum. Amity Business School also invites managers from industry for talks on various topics related to the course curriculum and its industry applications.

Amity Business School maintains a strong corporate connect with Industry. ABS conducts a lot of consultancy programmes on competency and skill building for industry managers. The organizations where Amity Business School has conducted consultancy and training programs are J K Tyres, Supreme Industries, SRF Ltd, J B Mangharam Foods Pvt. Ltd. (A fully owned subsidiary of Britannia Industry Ltd.) and Anmol Industries Ltd. These training programs are focused towards live industry problems and human capital skill development. Amity Business School conducts International/National conferences every year. These conferences provide a platform for learners from all fields to interact with top Industry people and get to know the latest trends in the industry.
