As a part of an initiative of the Ministry of Education Innovation Cell (Government of India) Institution’s Innovation Council, Amity Business School, Amity University Madhya Pradesh organized a workshop on the topic Accelerators/Incubation- Opportunities for Students & Faculties – Early-Stage Entrepreneurs.
Organized Workshop on 4 August, 2023
The objectives of the workshop were:
1. Business value Support system awareness for young entrepreneurs like monitoring, co-working space, legal accounting access lab to company registration.
2. How their Incubation program takes place from Ideation to discovery to growth stage.
3. Case study of successful student start-ups.
4. How to identify Business opportunities.
5. Incubation information and lab status for students and faculties.
Dr. Shaifali Garg, Associate Professor, Amity Business School, Amity University, Madhya Pradesh gave the welcome address and spoke about the importance of Accelerator/ Incubation for students & faculties.
The resource person for the workshop- is RAJENDRA DESHPANDE, CEO, of Business Value India, Harvard Square.
SESSION COVER-:
1. How to get support for converting an Innovative idea into a Start-up from any Incubation Centre/accelerator.
2. Giving ideas about processes/ useful steps for getting incubated with useful links or information.
3. To encourage the students to innovative business ideas for their entrepreneurial development in future.
The motive of this workshop was to make the students understand how Incubation plays a major role in supporting start-ups.
About 120 students attended the workshop. The session was very informative and the queries of the students were very well handled by the speaker. The overall feedback of the workshop is very positive.
