World Entrepreneurs Day: How to built Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

         Introduction: 

World Entrepreneurship Day was celebrated by Amity Business School on 21st August 2024 in collaboration with Institution of Innovation Council with the aim of fostering entrepreneurial spirit and skills among students and faculty. 
This event included a series of activities, including networking sessions, designed to inspire and educate participants about the significance of entrepreneurship in today's world. The event was organized to emphasize the importance of entrepreneurship in driving innovation and economic growth. Through a series of well-curated sessions, the event aimed to inspire attendees to think creatively and consider entrepreneurship as a viable career path. The initiative underscored the university's commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial culture and supporting the entrepreneurial aspirants.

·      To provide insights into the challenges and opportunities in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
·      To encourage innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
·      To facilitate networking between students, faculty, and successful entrepreneurs.

These students engaged actively in all the sessions, reflecting a strong desire to learn and innovate. The diverse academic backgrounds of the students contributed to a vibrant and dynamic environment, fostering cross-disciplinary ideas and collaborations. Their participation highlighted the growing interest in entrepreneurship among the younger generation and underscored the need for such platforms to nurture and support budding entrepreneurs.
     Highlights of the Event:
The event featured with success stories of entrepreneurs, interactive workshops on business model development, and a panel discussion on the future of startups in the digital age. Participants had the opportunity to share their opinion and pitch their business ideas.
 
   Outcome(s): 
Participants gained valuable insights into entrepreneurship, developed networking skills, and received constructive feedback on their business ideas. The event inspired several participants to pursue their entrepreneurial ventures and provided them with the necessary tools and knowledge to start their journey or we can say the event yielded several positive outcomes for participants. Students gained a deeper understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape and the skills required to navigate it successfully. The feedback from the pitch  helped refine their business ideas and enhanced their presentation skills. Faculty members benefited from the exchange of ideas and the opportunity to mentor aspiring entrepreneurs. Overall, the event fostered a culture of innovation and risk-taking, encouraging participants to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions with greater confidence. It also strengthened the network between the university and the entrepreneurial community, paving the way for future collaborations and support.
