5th Amity Intra Moot Court Competition

From 9th to 11th May 2026, Vth Amity Intra Moot Court Competition marked a proud milestone in this tradition — the fifth edition of an annual event that has steadily grown in scale, quality of participation, and academic rigour. The competition was conceptualized and executed by the Moot Court Committee of Amity Law School, Patna, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across multiple semesters and programmes.

The Final Round of the competition was adjudicated by an eminent panel comprising Shri Om Prakash Srivastava, Retired District & Sessions Judge and former Information Commissioner; Shri Avinash Kumar Pandey, Joint Member Secretary / Joint Secretary, Bihar State Legal Services Authority (BSLSA); and Ms. Anusha Raj, Assistant Registrar, Bihar State Legal Services Authority (BSLSA). Their distinguished presence, insightful observations, and expert evaluation added immense value to the proceedings and provided participants with a highly enriching courtroom experience.

Team AIMCC-06, comprising Ms. Asmita Singh, Ms. Nidhi Kumari, and Mr. Utkarsh Anand, emerged as the Champions of the Vth Amity Intra Moot Court Competition, 2026, for their exceptional advocacy, research, and courtroom presentation. Team AIMCC-27, comprising Mr. Ayush Kumar, Mr. Prakhar Priyambad, and Mr. Rishiraj Singh, secured the Runner-Up position with their strong legal arguments, clarity, and commendable performance in the Final Round.

  • Best Speaker (Female): Ms. Lucky Kumari impressed the adjudicators with her articulate and confident advocacy, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the legal issues and an exceptional ability to engage with judicial questions.
  • Best Speaker (Male): Mr. Ayush Kumar, who also anchored the Runner-Up team, earned individual recognition as Best Speaker (Male), reflecting the consistency of his outstanding advocacy across all rounds.
  • Best Researcher: Ms. Aarti Kumari was recognized for her exemplary research, which formed the foundation of her team's arguments and reflected a comprehensive survey of relevant law, precedent, and academic commentary.
  • Best Memorial: Team AIMCC-11 — Mr. Nilesh Ranjan, Ms. Shreya and Mr. Abhi Tushar submitted the Best Memorial of the competition. Their written submission was praised for its structure, depth of analysis, precision of citation, and professional presentation.
The Vth Intra Moot Court Competition reaffirmed the significance of moot court practice in legal education. With participation from 36 teams and over 100 students, the event showcased exceptional advocacy, research excellence, and professional conduct.
