Film Stars Himansh Kohli and Sonnalli Seygall Visit Amity University to Promote Their Upcoming Film “Aryabhatt Ka Zero’
Renowned film actor and Amity University alumnus Himansh Kohli, actress Sonnalli Seygall, visited Amity University to promote their upcoming film “Aryabhatt Ka Zero”. They were accompanied by the film's Director Kamal Chandra, Music Director Mannan, Actress Darshana Banik, and other members of the cast and crew of the film.
Sharing his journey with the students of Amity School of Film & Drama, Himansh Kohli said, "I was a student at Amity from 2009 to 2011. During that time, many renowned artists visited the campus and inspired me immensely. Returning to Amity today feels like coming home and I am grateful to all my teachers for their role in shaping my career. During my time at Amity, I understood the importance of camera work, public relations, and marketing, all of which have been invaluable in my professional career." Advising the students, he further added, “There is nothing wrong with dreaming, but dreams come true only for those who work hard to achieve them. This is your time to learn, so make the most of it.”
Speaking on the occasion, Sonnalli Seygall said, "Aryabhatt Ka Zero is a heartfelt story that explores the evolving relationship between a father and son, and I am confident that the audience will connect with the story. Filmmaking is a challenging profession and requires passion and hard work.” She advised the students to stay focused, disciplined, and dedicated to their goals, noting that success rewards those who are committed. She also said that life provides an opportunity to everyone and making the most of it, is the key to success.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. (Mrs.) Pooja Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity School of Film & Drama and Amity Humanity Foundation, said, "Himansh Kohli was an exceptionally talented student and today he has earned this success through his dedication and perseverance. Such interactions provide students with valuable insights into the art of filmmaking and emphasize upon the importance of the hard work, passion, and commitment required to succeed in the film industry."
