Experience
Dr. Basniwal has done MTech. from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (University of Technology of Madhya Pradesh) and Ph.D. from Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (UK). He has more than 15 years of research and teaching experience. He has 35 international publications and filed 9 patents (including 2 granted). He has worked on many government-sponsored projects. He organized and actively participated in many International and National conferences. Recently, three technologies developed at Amity Institute of Advanced Research and Studies (M&D) laboratories and transferred to various industries for commercialization. His working areas include nanotechnology, bioenergy (biofuel), and microbiology. Currently, he is working on harvesting of electrical energy from waste water and cleaning the waste water.

Biofuel and Fuel Cell Engineering, Bio-Energy Systems: Fuel Cells and Biomass, Elements of Biochemistry etc.
Research Interests
Synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles and their applications for energy, sensors, cancers, water treatment, biofuel production, etc.

Other Achievements
• A Technology shortlisted with few IITs like IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and IIT Roorkee. This technology is based on electricity generation from waste water and displayed in ACREX 2024 event on15-17th Feb, 2024 at venue IEML, India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR.
• He displayed the technology in the big event IInvenTiv-2024, 19th-20thJan, 2024 at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad, Kandi-502284, Sangareddy (Telangana).
