Prof. Madhusoodanan M.S. is an experienced researcher and academician specializing in the fields of Climate change, Integrated Management of Coastal Zone, Asian Summer Monsoon, and restoration of regional ecosystems. With a postdoctoral career spanning over 20 years, he has made significant contributions to the advancement of knowledge and has played a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape. He has successfully completed numerous national and international research and implementation projects in India and abroad, serving as a Principal Investigator, Co-PI, and Project Manager. His expertise and leadership have been recognized through the receipt of national and international research fellowships. His work has been published in esteemed peer-reviewed international journals, including the renowned Science Magazine, with his research publications garnering over 2500 citations. He holds Ph.D. (Oceanography), M.Tech. (Atmospheric Science) and M.Sc. (Oceanography) from Cochin University of Science & Technology,
