She holds Ph. D. in Impact Assessment of Coal-Fired Thermal Power Plants on Environment from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi; M. Tech degree in Remote Sensing and GIS technology from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. She has done several research projects related to geospatial mapping of land degradation in Ranchi with Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. She has 5 years of research experience in Natural Resource Management. Her specialization is the theory and practice of remote sensing and geographic information systems.
