Current Courses Taught
Presently I taught to post-graduate student of Wildlife Science in their course modules (Remote sensing, Geographic information system, Landscape ecology, Population and community ecology, Human Dimension in Wildlife Management, Forest Survey and Engineering and conducted field labs and mentored students enrolled in ecological work.
Research Interests
My research plans are to conduct studies to understand the animal ecology that covers a range of subjects in whole organism biology, but focuses on evolutionary ecology, which is concerned with the ways organisms respond adaptively to changes in their social, ecological, and physical environment. However to provides its majors with an understanding of ecological principles and processes and their applications to natural resource management. It is oriented toward students desiring a general and flexible program in biological sciences. In evolutionary ecology more precisely, I would like to research (i) to identify the proximate causes and ultimate consequences of animal movement across scales, (ii) to understand the social organization and ecological and evolutionary interactions within species and functional significance of animal communication. I also has strong, parallel interests in conservation and climate change biology and particularly in the impacts of extreme weather and climate events on biodiversity. I would also like to work with interdisciplinary groups to provide inputs to biodiversity/ecological impact assessment, quantitative assessment in forests (biomass, carbon and others) and wildlife (services, socio-economic interactions).
