Teaching Interests
Dr Jamuna obtained her doctorate from Sri Padmavathi (Mahila)University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Her research interests include managerial and corporate communication, human resources gender studies, feminism, and Indian English literature. She is actively involved in training and consulting has certified in ‘Train the Trainer’ from Dale Carnegie Training. She has also completed the IELTS and trains students for the same. She has also imparted training for students for BEC certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment conducted various training sessions in Bangalore and Chennai she has imparted. Dr Jamuna has published various papers on Communication and Management in various international seminars and conferences. Currently she is working on intricacies involved in communication and management for book chapters in Scopus publications.
Professional Activities
Dr. Jamuna has over 19 years of experience in teaching students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels both in India and abroad. Dr. Jamuna has a Ph.D. in English Literature and three master’s degrees in arts, management, and literature respectively. She has also obtained one pre-research degree in literature (M.Phil.). As a teacher-trainer, Dr Jamuna has been invited as a resource person in corporate (both private and public sectors) in areas of corporate etiquette and leadership skills and uses her talents as a public speaker, debater, trainer, and compere. Dr. Jamuna has coordinated Management Development Programs (MDPs). She has conducted various workshops for faculty (FDPs) and also conducted Staff Development Programs.
