    Dr Shashi Shekhar Singh is a doctorate in English Literature and is currently working at Amity University, Noida. He holds pioneer experience in teaching English Literature for over 20 years. His area of expertise includes Indian Literature in Translation, Indian Mythological Literature, Indian Linguistic Tradition etc. He has written multiple books, has guided many research projects, and has a huge literary publication footprint.

  • Professional Activities
    Dr. Shashi Shekhar Singh’s research focus is Indian Literature Translation, Indian Knowledge, Systems and Indian Aesthetic Tradition. He obtained his BA (Hons.) English and MA English from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University in First Division and moved to Central Institute of English & Foreign Languages for his PGCTE, PGDTE and M.Phil. His doctorate is in the field of Children’s Literature and Young Adult Literature examining both classical and contemporary texts. His recent publications include textbooks for Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune, and Alagappa University. His upcoming title includes A Handbook of English Literature. He has delivered lectures at BHU and Conference of the Comparative Literature Association Of India to name a few.For his contribution towards academics he has been conferred Academic Excellence Award by FIRMS India, an India based International body of Teaching and Research Professionals.
