  • Teaching Interests
    A gold medallist in M.A. English Literature and the recipient of the Indraprastha Research Fellowship (2016) she has completed her PhD from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2019. She has to her credit a book titled, Current and Crosscurrents: Reading Gender, Race and Class in Select Works and more than fifteen research papers. She has also received eminent scholarships like Prof. V.K. Dublish Memorial Scholarship, Geetika Nagpal Khurana Scholarship, Naren Scholarship, to name a few. She teaches Indian English Literature, Translation Studies, Diaspora Studies, Modern European Drama and American Literature.

    Dr. Shweta Tiwari is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Amity Institute of English Studies and Research. Based on her academic profile, the Asian Literary Society awarded her with the Indian Women Rising Star Award in 2021. A teacher by profession and a creative writer by passion, her short stories have been published on notable online platforms like Muse India, Indian Ruminations and Setu.
