  • Experience
    Richa Yadav is an Assistant Professor of Law with over nine years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She is UGC–NET qualified and has successfully cleared the All India Bar Examination (AIBE). Dr. Yadav holds a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) and a postgraduate qualification in Bioinformatics, reflecting a strong interdisciplinary academic foundation. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. with a research focus on Geographical Indications, examining their legal, economic, and sustainability dimensions.

    Her areas of teaching and research include Intellectual Property Rights, Geographical Indications, Artificial Intelligence and Law, Constitutional Law, Environmental Law, Healthcare Law, and Legal Professional Ethics. She has published research papers in Scopus-indexed journals, contributed chapters to edited national and international books, and has served as Editor of four academic books in the fields of Constitutional Law, Artificial Intelligence and Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and Contemporary Legal Studies.

    Ms. Yadav has also gained valuable professional experience by working with the Government of Uttar Pradesh, which has enriched her understanding of governance, public administration, and legal processes, and continues to inform her teaching and research.

    In addition to her academic and research contributions, Dr. Yadav has played an active role in institutional development. She has headed the Timetable Committee and the Class Representative (CR) Committee, and has served as a faculty coordinator/member of the ADR Society, Environment Club “Medhini,” AI Club, and the Institutional Podcast initiative. She has also coordinated Summer School and Summer Semester programmes, contributing to curriculum enrichment and experiential learning.

    She has completed certificate courses from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM), demonstrating her commitment to continuous professional development in the area of intellectual property. Ms. Yadav regularly participates in academic forums and has presented research papers at national and international conferences, engaging with global scholarly communities. She is also frequently invited as a guest speaker at academic and professional events.
