Dr. A. Bhoomadevi has completed her Masters in hospital Management in Madurai Kamaraj University and Ph.D. from Sri Ramachandra University. She has 16 years of teaching experience and 4 yrs of industry experience taking up administrative positions like Principal in-charge for 6 months.

She has been selected as ‘Young Faculty Researcher” in the year 2008 by Sri Ramachandra University and received Rs. 65,000/- as intramural funding for her research. She has published around 35 articles in indexed and peer-reviewed journals (inclusive of Scopus, Web of Science and PubMed Central)with more than 55 citations, h-index 3 and i10-index 3. She has authored two books and four chapters. She has published two utility patents. She has presented more than 30 papers in both national and international conferences out of which one paper presented in Singapore (2016) got the best paper award. She has also received the Best Doctoral Researcher Award (2018).

Global Faculty Award (2020) and Teaching Excellence Award (2022). She is a life member of NBQP-Quality Council of India. She is currently supervising six PhD scholars, and has guided more than 60 PG level projects. She has received an ICSSR seminar grant of Rs. 2,00,000/- in the year 2019 for organizing a seminar on “Healthcare system and Healthcare delivery in India: Challenges and Opportunities”. She has been a Faculty Coordinator for National Board of Accreditation at the Institution level, and Institutional Innovation Council at University level. She has been instrumental in proposing to MSME and obtaining the recognition of the Institute as a Host Institution for the implementation of the Incubation component under the MSME innovative Scheme for Rupees one crore.
