Experience
Dr Cihnnita Baruah holds a PhD and an MPhil in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, and an MA in Political Science from the University of Delhi. She currently teaches at Amity Law School and has previously served as Guest Lecturer at several colleges of the University of Delhi, including Maitreyi College, Aryabhatta College, and Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.
Her research interests span social movements, identity politics, ethnicity, media studies, gender, and the politics of Northeast India. Dr Baruah has published peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters with reputed publishers including Routledge, and her writings have also appeared on academic and public platforms.
