Experience
I am Dr. Ankana Bal, currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at Amity Law School, Delhi, since August 2025. I completed my Ph.D. in Law from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, with a thesis on the Unification of Adoption Laws in India. I hold an LL.M. from NALSAR University of Law with specialization in International Trade Law and have over a decade of teaching experience in legal academia. My teaching and research interests include international law, human rights, child law, and international trade law. I have published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and I regularly present my work at academic conferences. My recent research focuses on child protection, adoption, and emerging challenges in international law and politics.
