    My research interest originates from a desire to understand the incredible diversity of protein
    structure and the vast array of reactions they catalyze. My career goal is to contribute towards
    understanding of protein structure/function alteration leading to disease in an endeavor to
    developing novel therapeutic approaches.

    I wish to contribute a logical and analytical thinking capability to students.
    I have worked on new interactive academic programmes while working as visiting scientist at Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel which I would like to introduce in our country.

    2014 Selected as visiting scientist under INSA-Bilateral Exchange Programme, tovisit The Israel Structural Proteomics Center situated at Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel for 03 weeks.
    2009 Eli-Lilly Asia Outstanding Thesis Award, (First prize).
    2008 Best oral presentation award at the “National seminar on Crystallography-37” Jadavpur University, Kolkata, 6-8th Feb.
