1. What system of education - Semester / Annual is followed at Amity University?

Answer: Amity University follows semester system which is in conformity with the global practices and standards. Students are required to maintain minimum SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) & CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point average) to get promoted to the next semester and qualify for Degree/Diploma.

2. What is the minimum requirement of attendance to appear in end semester examination and from when does it start?

Answer: A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear in the end semester examinations. Attendance of a student is calculated from the date of commencement of program or date of fee payment (whichever is later).

3. Can a student apply for program change after selection?

Answer: Students can request for Program Change on the admission microsite at Post/Track your query before fee payment. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for the change sought is mandatory. Change is subject to approval by the admission committee. An additional amount of Rs. 1500/- is charged, if the request is approved. Program change request will not be accepted after fee payment.

4. What is the provision of Withdrawal post programme change?

Answer: Please note that in case of withdrawal (post programme change/Fee transfer from one program to another), the refund amount will be processed, keeping the programme with higher fees into consideration.

For e.g. You are selected in B.Com(H) (Rs.1,32,000 per semester) and opt for a course change to BBA Tourism Management (Rs. 89,000 per semester) post selection. In this case, fee for B.Com(H) will be taken into consideration while processing refund.

5. What are the modes of fee payment?

Answer: Students can make the payment through following options:

  • A. Through Net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card
  • B. Through Paytm
  • C. Through NEFT / RTGS (NO IMPS) in Bank.
  • D. Through Demand Draft/ Pay-order/ Cash at Axis Bank Branches
  • E. Pay at Amity University Campus by way of Pay Order / Demand Draft.
  • F. Through Bharat Bill Payment

6. What if one fails to deposit the fee as per the last date mentioned on the admission letter?

Answer: If you are not able to pay the fees by the due date, you are required to approach the admission office through “Post/track your query” link available on Admission microsite. Request for extension of date will be considered by the Admission Committee, depending on the availability of seats.
“Please note that seats in all programmes are limited and will be allotted on first come, first served basis.”

7. What is AMIZONE and how can it be accessed?

Answer: Amizone is a portal through which student can access vital information pertaining to academic and administration. It constitutes an IT nerve center for dissemination of information and instruction relevant to academic journey of the student during their tenure at Amity University. Amizone will be activated after realization of fee payment at Amity for Post-Graduate programs. For Under-Graduate programs Amizone will be activated after realization of fee payment and meeting the eligibility criteria of the selected program.

8. When should the candidate report for Registration to the Institution/Hostel and what are the documents required at the time of reporting?

Answer: Students should report on commencement date of the Program. List of documents required at the time of reporting can be obtained from Admission Letter and Amizone.

Date of reporting to Hostel is communicated separately through Amizone.

Please Note:

1. Student will be allowed to enter the campus on the commencement date through gate number 1 & 4 only.

2. Students will not be allowed to register for the program/hostel 10 days post the commencement date under any circumstances. Hostel seat (if applicable) will automatically get cancelled.

9. What are the various Scholarships offered by Amity?

10. What are the privileges for Amity Alumni?
  1. 1. Under “Amity Advantage Scheme”, 10% fee concession is offered to Amity Alumni, who wish to continue their higher education with AUUP, Noida Campus (applicable for pass outs of 2024 / 2025 / 2026 only)

Procedure to Apply:

  • Documentary proof of successful completion of class 12th/ Graduation to be mailed to admitted@amity.edu.
  • Concession shall be granted based on verification of documents by Admission Department.

2. Noida Campus also offers direct admission to its own graduates in all Master’s programs subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for the program (Applicable for pass outs of 2025 / 2026 only).

11. Does Amity University offer assistance in availing Education Loan?

Answer: Amity has tie ups with premier banks to offer easy Education Loans to selected students.

12. What is Study Abroad Program (SAP) offered by Amity?

Answer: SAP stands for Study Abroad Program. To give international exposure, every Amitian can avail option to proceed on SAP.

13. What is the campus placement criteria of the University?

Answer: Amity assures 100% placement assistance. In order to be eligible for the recruitment process, every student is required to achieve a minimum of 6 CGPA on a scale of 10 point.

14. Is Hostel/Residential facility available within the Amity University campus?

Answer: Yes, Amity provides comprehensive AC hostel facilities for boys and girls separately within the University campus.

15. What is the hostel fee and what does the hostel fee include?

Answer: The hostel fee for 2026 session:

For AC Rooms- Rs. 1,95,000 per annum.

One-time Hostel Security Deposit of Rs. 15,000/- has to be paid along with the Hostel fee.

The hostel fee is inclusive of the boarding and the laundry charges. There are Multi cuisine cafeterias available in the campus. Students can choose the type of food they wish to have.

16. What are the facilities offered in AC hostel accommodation?

Answer: Apartment styled AC accommodation is a single occupancy concept in a 4-room apartment which is air conditioned along with sitting lounge, cable TV, refrigerator, Wi-Fi connection and essential furniture including bed mattress, study table, chair, cupboard, bed sheets, pillow covers, towels and laundry services.

17. What are the Withdrawal Guidelines for refund of fees?

Application for withdrawal from the program is to be submitted through Amizone (www.amizone.net). No other mode of request will be considered.

18. Is there any transportation facility for day scholars?

AUUP Noida is well connected with Metro, Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro Station and Botanical Garden Metro Station are nearest.

Private cab service is also a popular mode of transport for Faculty and Students.
