Advantages of Institute includes

a) Startup cell, skill development program, workshops, training etc.

  • AIB organizes National Workshop cum hands on training in emerging area of Biotechnology in every two years to develop the skills of the students, researchers, and faculty.
  • AIB organize National and International conferences, seminar, and guest lectures in emerging area of Biotechnology every year for scientific promotion amongst students and researchers.
  • AIB also provides summer training & dissertation in Biotechnology to students of different colleges and universities of nearby region to develop the skill enhancement and entrepreneurship.

b) Collaborations and trainings/ visits

  • AIB has signed MoU with National JALMA Institute for Leprosy & Other Mycobacterial Diseases, Agra to mutually exchange research facilities and collaborative projects.
  • AIB has signed MoU with Rockefeller University, USA to mutually exchange research facilities and collaborative projects.
  • DST SERB-SIRE fellowship awarded (3-4 months) to Dr. Manish Kumar, Assistant Professor, AIB for a research experience at San Diego State University received a fellowship of 3000 USD per month, to and fro air fare, 75000 contingency and Insurance. He has done his research work under the guidance of Dr. Marina Kalyuzhnaya, Professor, Department of Biology, SDSU, California. Approximate fund offered: Rupees 11,12,160/-
  • Muskan Bhatia, student of M.Sc. Biotechnology IV semester, Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh received a fellowship of $ 5247 to meet her expenses on air travel and accommodation. In addition, she also got $2679 as a stipend for one month (Total INR 6.42 lacs) from Department of Statistical Genetics, Rockefeller University, New York, USA under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Jurg Ott.
  • MoU has been signed between Jiwaji University Gwalior and Amity University Madhya Pradesh Gwalior.
  • Several UG students have been joined the University of Illinois Chicago, IRB Barcelona Spain, Quality Control Centennial College, Canada, Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Russia, California State University, USA, Northeastern University, USA

c) Choice based credit system etc.

  • All the undergraduate courses of AIB is having partial choice based credit system.
