 Digital Collage Making Competition on “COVID-19 Pandemic: A Global challenge”

COVID-19 is a global challenge that demands Researchers, Policymakers, and Governments to address multiple dimensions that go far beyond the implications of this pandemic for health and wellbeing.   The year 2020 marks a dramatically different childhood experience that these young people will remember for the rest of their lives, and a unique teaching experience has evolved, where teachers have had to rapidly adapt, be creative, and shift roles. A digital collage is graphic arts by layering virtual images together from various sources into a new piece of art. The transfer of knowledge by making collage is the field of new world of science that has a beneficial impact on the students who are the part of our future socity. On the “Celebration of 10Years of AUMP/ Raising Day” Amity Institute of Biotrechnology (AIB), AUMP organized a Digital Collage Making Competition on “COVID-19 Pandemic: A Global challenge” on 15th September 2021 at 12:00 PM on MS Teams. The main aim of the competition was to promote students with creative collage expression and to enhance their awareness about covid 19’s impact on every field such as teaching-learning experience, social, economic and health issues. Through the event, AIB provided a platform for young students to express their ideas and also present their creative art skills. The event started with the inaugural address of Prof. (Dr.) R.S. Tomar, Director, AIB & Dean (Academics) Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior. Many students of AIB participated in the Digital Collage Making Competition. The competition motivated young students to share their ideas and express their views through collage making on one platform. The event was very fruitful, informative and greatly knowlegable for all.  
The winners of the event are as follows:
1.     First Prize       : Ms. Alka Parashar (M.Sc. Biotechnology III SEM) 
2.     Second Prize    : Ms. Sneha Shrivastava (B.Tech Biotechnology, III SEM) 
3.     Third Prize      : Mr. Aditya Pratap Singh (B.Tech VII Sem)
