Amity University Madhya Pradesh organized Amity Youth Fest, AMICHROMA 2022 on 16th and 17th February 2022
Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh organized the Annual Youth Fest “AMICHROMA 2022” on 16th and 17th February 2022 from 10:00 A.M. to 06.00 P.M. through online mode in which a large number of participants took part. The objective of the mega event was to provide a platform to the young minds to showcase their skills and talents through various events apart from the academics. Amity Youth Fest is an annual gathering of students from AUMP and other schools, colleges and universities of India.
Registration and Participation
There were a total of 1580 registrations received from both AUMP and other institutions.
Inaugural Session
The youth fest started with the inaugural session with the participants and dignitaries of AUMP attending the mega event through both offline and online mode. The inaugural session began with the release of balloons to mark the opening of the event. It was followed by the address and opening remarks of Lt. Gen. V.K. Sharma AVSM (Retd), Hon’ble Vice chancellor of AUMP. In his address, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor enlightened the participants on the importance of cultural activities in life besides academics. He also emphasized on the objective of the youth fest which is to bring together the students from diverse fields, to promote innovative ideas and to facilitate inter-disciplinary exchange of ideas and information while encouraging team spirit in them. He also appreciated the efforts taken by the entire organizing team comprising the faculty, staff and students of AUMP for organizing this mega event through online mode in the challenging times of Covid-19. He also congratulated all the participants from AUMP as well as other institutes for being a part of AMICHROMA 2022. The inaugural session was attended by a total of 1375 people through hybrid mode.
