Voluntary Blood Donation is a very significant commitment to the service of humanity. National Service Scheme unit of AUMP organized a voluntary blood donation camp on 29^th March 2023 in the university campus. The Blood Donation Camp aimed to inculcate leadership skills, team work, positivity, concern and empathy for society in the personality of NSS volunteers. The event was organized in coordination with the authorities of Blood Bank, Department of Pathology, JA Hospital Gwalior, in the Foyer and rooms 115 and 116 of Block A, AUMP. 

The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated with the opening remarks of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, AUMP Lt Gen V K Sharma, (AVSM). Faculty, students, staff members and NSS volunteers of AUMP enthusiastically contributed to the blood donation drive and selflessly donated 250 units of blood.  Students and faculty from other educational institutes also contributed enthusiastically in the voluntary blood donation drive. The camp concluded at 1710 hr. with the closing remarks by Hon'ble Lt Gen V K Sharma, VC, AUMP and Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Prof. (Dr.) M P Kaushik who praised the whole hearted efforts, enthusiasm, team work, devotion and leadership skills of the NSS volunteers, teachers and the administrative staff for the precise arrangements. He also thanked the authorities of JA Hospital for their cooperation and hard work. Dr. V K Jalgan, Director, ASET AUMP thanked Dr Jyoti Priyadarshini Shrivastava, Coordinator, Voluntary Blood Donation, Blood Bank, Department of Pathology, JA Hospital Gwalior for his consistent support and praised all donors and supporting NSS volunteers who made the camp a success by selfless act of blood donation, promotion and motivation.
