FERMENTED FOOD CARNIVAL

Glimpses of food carnival

 On the occasion of Science Day, one pre seminar activity was organized as Fermented Food Carnival sponsored by Microbiologists Society, India (MBSI) on 28th Feb 2023.

The pre-seminar activity ‘Fermented Food Carnival’ in collaboration with Microbiologists Society, India (MBSI) on the Science Day i.e. 28th Feb 2023 was started with the expert guest lecture by Dr. Mithilesh Jaiswal, Founder and Director, Syncare Biotech pvt ltd, Gwalior. In the presence of students and faculties of AIB. During this expert guest lecture Pro-Vice Chancellor, AUMP Prof. (Dr.) M.P. Kaushik and Director, AIB & Dean (Academics) AUMP interacted with the students and guest speaker. During his lecture he elaborate the application and utilization of pre and pro-biotics along with the opportunities as entrepreneur in this field. After completion of lecture Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. V. K. Sharma, AVSM (Retd.) along with other dignitaries inaugurated different food stalls. Stalls with fermented foods were displayed by students from different departments of AUMP such as ASET (Amity school of Engineering and Technology), ABS (Amity Business School), Amity Institute of Biotechnology (AIB) and Amity Institute of Pharmacy (AIP). 
There was total 10 teams and each team was made with group of students. During inaugural session of Int-SCTLS 2023 felicitation of students was done by dignitaries on dais. They felicitated the students and winners of Fermented Food Carnival along with Best student awards sponsored by MBSI (Microbiologists Society, India). During inauguration all India President Prof. A.M. Deshmukh proposed his best wishes for the event in the form of short video. Third prize was grabbed by Team 9 from AIB (Sharon Francis, Deepa, Simram pandey, Pooja Bhadauria, Abhishek Yadav followed by second prize by Team 10 from AIP (Ankhush, Kajal Shukla, Ansh Agrawal, Harshad sharma) and winner of the fermented food carnival was Team 5 from AIB (Shristi Gupta, Karistha and team).
