About the Conference:
Everything we recognize about the world in which we live is mediated by symbols, languages, technology, and the media. In recent times this cognitive process has undergone a shift from the established cultural form to a digital one. Digital media has empowered individuals from every part of the globe to express themselves and remain associated in virtual space in a specific manner. It is clear that the versatility of provided and exchanged knowledge through the digital media can significantly influence the creation of cross-cultural interactions in the digital environment, both explicitly and implicitly. The dissemination of information and its value-added contribution has been at the core of economic and cultural activities in the modern knowledge-based society. Likewise, multiculturalism and multilingualism in digital media shall have a crucial role to play in promoting liberal, egalitarian, open and sustainable knowledge communities of tomorrow.
International Conference on “Language, Culture and Digital Media: Emerging Trends and Challenges” aims at bringing together the international community of researchers, scholars, and social scientists to exchange knowledge on association between language, culture and digital media, semiotic and sociological perspectives and their impact on the symbolic, cognitive and pragmatic processes in communication, and the most modern strategies, concepts, and platforms resulting from this confluence.
The conference will also offer a distinctive blend of opportunities for networking, learning through enriching keynote addresses, intellectual exchanges and plenary speeches, as well as opportunities for publishing.
