AMIHACKS- PHARMACY HACKATHON 2021
Amity Institute of Pharmacy Noida and Lucknow campus, organized Amihacks-Pharmacy Hackathon 2021 as a part of Amity Youth Fest 2021.
Amihacks-Pharmacy Hackathon was a multidisciplinary event held on 11th and 12th March 2021 with the aim to design and develop a user friendly app in order to enhance patient compliance. The event tried to tap the potential of budding innovators to develop a robust app to strengthen the existing healthcare system.
The inaugural session began with a welcome address by Dr.Tanveer Naved, Joint Head , Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Noida and blessings by Prof.(Dr).Suneela Dhaneshwar, Director , Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Deputy Dean Research (S & T ) Head, Directorate of Research & Publication, Amity University Uttar Pradesh Lucknow Campus.
30 enthusiastic students participated in the hackathon event where in they showcased their innovativeness and creativeness in designing the app. Presentation on the concept of app for helping geriatric patients far away from their kids, app based for online consultation with the doctor, app designed to suggest alterative medicine along with drug-drug, and drug food interaction to name a few were displayed by the participants.
The event also comprised of was mentoring sessions held on both the days by esteemed Industry experts Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma (Vice president, AIMIL Pharmaceuticals India Ltd.) and Mr. Rajender Singh (Senior Vice President, Mankind Research Centre) and Mr. Vipul Gupta (Head regulatory Affairs Roche Products India Pvt. Ltd.) and an interesting panel discussion by eminent panelists- Mr. Manish Narang:Vice President-Asia Pacific, Abott India Limited, Mr. Rakesh Shahi:Co-Founder Director, Lifescience Intellipedia Pvt. Ltd. and Dr. Partho Mukherjee:Assiciate Professor,Head-Department of Urology, CMC, Ludhiana.
The event was overall attended by more than 100 participants.
Winners of First Prize were: Nikunj Jain, Aarushi Gupta, Vaibhav Goel (Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Noida).
Winners of 2nd prize are Ayushi Mishra, Riddhima Pandey, Jaya Jaiswal (Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Lucknow)
3rd prize was won by: Luv Thareja, Stuti Singh, Angela Bali (Amity Institute of Pharmacy,Noida)
