Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT) organized a workshop in hybrid mode on “Cutting-Edge IT Trends and Application Leading to Student’s Industry Readiness” on 21st February 2023. The workshop was conducted to make the students aware of current trends and technologies used in the software industry.
Wg. Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Kumar, Dy. Pro Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Lucknow and Brig. U.K. Chopra, Director of AIIT welcomed the guests and encouraged the students to learn the latest developments in the IT Sector which will help them be future entrepreneurs and develop their projects and drive them to better placement opportunities.
The first offline session was presided by Mr. Manish Sinha, Corporate CTO and Senior Vice President from Loreal Paris who talked about the present and future of IT industry in India and globally. He talked about how big brands and companies are more involved with data analysis used for better business prospects. He also emphasized the key points required to initiate a career in the IT sector. He encouraged the students to be a master of their subject and learn it to its core and to follow your interests, take risks and analyze and learn from their mistakes to be successful in their career and achieve future goals.
Around 100 students from various computer-related courses participated in this workshop and gained technical knowledge on how to be industry ready and be aware of the latest technologies like data science, blockchain and artificial intelligence being used worldwide.
The second session was online in which Mr. Somesh Srivastava, Senior Associate Engineer, Successive Technologies gave a hands-on on full stack development where students learnt how to develop both client and server software and understand the entire depth of a computer system application. The students got an opportunity to learn how to connect front end and back-end applications and gain technical know-how from the experts.
AIIT encourages such events and gives its students a chance to learn the latest technologies and thrive in the IT Sector and develop real-life solutions for the betterment of the country.
