Amity Business School (ABS), Mumbai has established itself through academic excellence, industry integration, experiential learning, innovation, and research-driven education. As Head of Institution, my vision is to position ABS as a leading industry-driven, AI-enabled, and globally connected business school. The focus will be on developing responsible, innovative, and future- ready leaders equipped to thrive in a rapidly evolving business environment. The curriculum will integrate Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Digital Transformation, and industry-recognized certifications. Learning will be application-oriented through live projects, case studies, simulations, consulting assignments, and field immersions. Strong industry partnerships will enhance student employability and career readiness.

Entrepreneurship and innovation will be fostered through incubation support, startup initiatives, patents, and venture development. Sustainability, ethics, ESG principles, and social responsibility will be embedded across academics and institutional practices. International collaborations, student exchanges, and global immersion programs will provide global exposure. My objective is to strengthen ABS’s reputation for academic excellence, industry relevance, innovation, employability, and global engagement. ABS should nurture leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and change-makers who create meaningful impact in business and society.

Research is a cornerstone of a world-class business school and should generate knowledge, solve real-world problems, influence policy, and contribute to societal development. My philosophy is to build a research culture where scholarly work becomes a collective institutional mission rather than an individual effort. I aim to create an environment where faculty and students actively engage in impactful and meaningful research. Emphasis will be placed on publishing in high- quality Scopus, SCI, SSCI, and ABDC-indexed journals while maintaining the highest standards of research ethics. Faculty capabilities will be strengthened through workshops, FDPs, mentoring, research clinics, grant-writing programs, and advanced analytical training.

A major priority will be expanding funded research through grants from agencies such as ICSSR, DST, AICTE, MeitY, and industry partners. Interdisciplinary research will be encouraged in areas including AI, sustainability, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, innovation, and analytics. Innovation, patents, copyrights, and intellectual property creation will be actively promoted. My vision is to establish ABS as a research-intensive business school known for quality publications, funded projects, innovation, collaborations, doctoral research, and societal impact. Research at ABS should create practical solutions that support industry growth, sustainable development, and public welfare.
