Corporate Resource Centre

The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), established in 1995, works with the objective of bringing the industry and academia close to each other to facilitate holistic student development. It encourages students to actively participate in various events wherein they can indulge themselves with formulating strategies, provides them with industry interactions and facilitates their summer internship and final placements.

CRC also organises counselling sessions for students and helps them choose an appropriate career depending on their aptitude and interest. Some of the sessions are- CEO Forums, Alumni Forums, Live Projects, Industry Visits, & Pre-placement Talks among others. The students work closely with the CRC team in securing placements for their batch. The placement activity is managed by the students under the guidance of the CRC team

Placement Process

Summer Placement

Summer Internships constitute an integral part of the MBA and specialized MBA curriculum and are valued for their relevance in management education and its application. It forms a vital aspect of the overall development of the management students.

After completing the first-year work, the students are placed in different organizations for a period of about eight weeks on specific assignments. Strategically positioned between the first and second year of the program, the internships are the perfect opportunity for the students to apply theoretical concepts learnt within the classrooms. As an industry intensive activity, it allows the students to experience and learn the corporate culture, first hand. Even the corporate world gets a fair idea of the talent quotient of the emerging generation of managers

Amity Business School was able to conduct successfully, even in the context of lockdown, the mandatory two-month internship with the industry. Students have successfully completed their internships with Pantaloons, Puma, HDFC, Hono HR, Aditya Birla, Ford, HCL, Huquo consulting, Hero Motor Corp, TVS Motor, MG Motor, Hyatt Regency etc

Final Placement

Final placement at Amity Business School, AU starts in the month of September and ends by March. Amity Business School, AU guarantees 100% assistance in placement of it’s students and for this they have a department called Corporate Resource Centre which is completely dedicated for Summer as well as final placement of all interested students.

With a batch hailing from diverse educational backgrounds –CAs, media, science, Arts and commerce graduates, and  engineers, the recruiters have always had a vast talent pool to choose from. Daring to go beyond the lure of the lucre, the placements see some students taking unconventional decisions to leave high paying offers to take up their dream jobs or even to dive into the unknown by accepting new profiles. Students join their respective companies from 1st week of March, after the end of their final semester examination.
