Taiwanese Universities and Amity University explore the areas of Research and Academic Collaboration

A delegation comprising of 26 Delegates from 12 Taiwanese Universities including Providence University, National Kaohsiung Normal University, China Medical University, Shih Chien University, National Formosa University, National Ilan University, Tamkang University, National Tsing Hua University and many others visited Amity University Noida campus. The aim of the visit was to explore opportunities for collaboration in research, student mobility and joint programmes.

 

Expressing his extreme pleasure on visiting Amity University, Mr. Wang Wei-Chung, Director, National Tsing Hua University Taiwan, said, “We are extremely delighted to visit Amity University and deliberate upon the various areas where we can collaborate and enhance the research ecosystem of both Universities. We would like to focus on cutting-edge research projects and engage with Amity students, faculty, and scientists and researchers, fostering cross-cultural understanding and development of new innovations.”

 

Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor Amity University Uttar Pradesh said, “Amity University is a research and innovation driven University and we are happy to collaborate with Taiwanese Universities since joint research has unlimited opportunities, when ideas and knowledge are exchanged, it leads to better outcomes.”

 

Presenting an Overview of Amity Education Group, Dr. Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor Amity Universities, said, “Amity University is committed to providing immense global exposure to its students so that they are well versed with the work culture and environment of different countries and can easily adapt themselves in different scenarios. We would be glad to collaborate with Taiwanese Universities in the areas of Psychology, Cancer Biology, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy and others through Dual Degree, Joint Degree, Joint Research and Articulation Programs.”  

 

Also present on the occasion were Dr. Sanjeev Bansal and Dr. Chanderdeep Tandon, Additional Pro Vice Chancellors, Amity University Uttar Pradesh along with the senior faculty and scientists of Amity.
