  • Teaching Interests
    Dr Surbhi Saraswat is an Associate Professor at Amity University, Noida. She has more than 17 years of teaching and research experience. She is a poet and a critic and has published several papers on women writings and gender issues in the national and international journals. Dr. Saraswat wrote her PhD on Contemporary Indian English Drama from Department of English, Himachal Pradesh University. To her credit are two anthologies namely Khwabon Ka Sweater and Cherry Blossoms. She has also been honoured with the Srijan Samman for her contributions in field of literature in 2023. She is on the verge of releasing her upcoming book titled Yatra. Dr. Surbhi Saraswat's multifaceted expertise in academia, poetry, and criticism has earned her recognition and respect in the literary community.

  • Professional Activities
    Dr. Surbhi Saraswat’s research focuses on Gender Studies, Contemporary Indian English Drama, Women's Writing in Cross-Cultural Perspective, and South Asian Literature & Diaspora Studies. An accomplished scholar and educator, she holds her B A (Hons) English (2004), M. A. English (2006), MPhil (2008) with a gold medal for her exceptional academic achievement, and PhD (2015) from Himachal Pradesh University. She has also qualified the UGC NET examination in 2013. With a remarkable combination of meticulousness, creativity and goal-oriented approach she has 21 published research papers to her credit, Dr. Saraswat has actively participated in conferences and workshops and has also played a significant role in the research guidance, currently she is supervising six Ph.D. scholars. As an invited resource person, Dr. Saraswat has delivered enlightening talk at VIIT, Pune on the topic "Enhance your Speech". She has also been honoured with the Srijan Samman for her contributions in field of literature in 2023.
