National Workshop on Entrepreneurship and Startup Skills

 Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh Gwalior organized a National Workshop on Entrepreneurship and Startup Skills on 09th May 2025 from 11:15 pm to 1:15 pm at Seminar Hall E Block. The talk was delivered by eminent speaker Mr. Hemant Sharma, Entrepreneur and Co-Founder VNurt Technology Solutions Private Limited. The webinar was organized with an objective to equip participants with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and innovative mindset required to initiate and manage successful startups. The workshop aimed to foster an entrepreneurial culture by providing insights into idea generation, business planning, funding strategies, market analysis, and regulatory frameworks.

Registration was free for the event and Approximately 80 participants from ASET attended the event.

Session 11:15 PM to 1:15 PM

The session was Bhoomi Jain, student of B.Tech CSE 6th Semester , Department of Computer Science & Engineering, She initiated the session by giving introduction of speaker to the participants. Prof.(Dr.) Vikas Thada, HOI - ASET and Head - CSE has welcomed him by giving a sapling. 

The speaker explained techniques for identifying, evaluating, and refining startup ideas based on market needs and feasibility, knowledge of how to create effective business models, prepare business plans, and outline growth strategies. The workshop on Entrepreneurship and Startup Skills provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset, idea development, and strategic business planning. Attendees gained insights into funding opportunities, legal and regulatory requirements, marketing and branding strategies, and effective pitching techniques. The workshop also offered exposure to real-life startup case studies, enhanced communication and networking skills, and introduced various support systems such as incubators, accelerators, and government schemes—empowering participants to confidently launch and grow their own ventures.

The event was well coordinated by Dr Madhavi Dhingra and Dr. Rajeev Goyal, Associate Professor, ASET-CSE, AUMP.
