Independence Day Poster Making Competition

 Amity School of Fashion Design & Technology (ASFDT), AUMP, organized a poster making competition on” Celebrating Freedom An Independence Day “on Thursday, 14th August 2025 from 2:10 pm to 4:10 pm in Room No. 302, D Block which was coordinated by Ms. Vidhu Gupta , Asst. Professor, ASFDT. The competition aimed to encourage creativity, artistic expression, and awareness about the significance of India’s independence.

Objectives
The main objective of the poster making competition is to encourage students to creatively express their patriotism, respect for freedom fighters, and understanding of the values of independence. Through visual art, the activity aims to foster national pride, spread awareness about the significance of India’s Independence Day, and inspire young minds to uphold the ideals of unity, sacrifice, and responsibility towards the nation.
Key Learnings
· Patriotism and National Pride – Students develop a deeper sense of love, respect, and responsibility towards their country.
· Creative Expression – Enhances artistic and imaginative skills by representing ideas visually.
· Historical Awareness – Encourages students to learn about freedom fighters, the struggle for independence, and the significance of 15th August.
