General Introduction of the Event: Amity School of Communication, Amity University Madhya Pradesh, organized the Storyboarding Workshop 2025 on 20 September 2025. The session featured Ms. Mansi Ketkar, a seasoned storyboard artist, illustrator, and visual designer known for her work across animation, advertising, and film production. With her vast experience in narrative visualization and pre-production design, Ms. Ketkar guided students through the fascinating process of converting ideas into structured visual stories.
The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with the creative and technical aspects of storyboarding — from conceptualization and shot composition to pacing, framing, and visual rhythm. Students learned how a well-crafted storyboard becomes the backbone of any visual production, bridging imagination with execution. Through live demonstrations, interactive discussions, and practical exercises, attendees gained firsthand exposure to industry-standard techniques and the mindset required to think like a visual storyteller.
The session fostered a dynamic and participatory learning environment where students explored storytelling fundamentals, cinematic language, and professional workflows used in the animation and film industries.
Objectives of the Event

The objective of the workshop was to provide students with professional insights from an industry expert, Ms. Mansi Ketkar, focusing on the relevance of storyboarding in animation, advertising, and film production.
Students explored how storyboards function as a critical pre-production tool for visual communication and learned about industry expectations, client briefs, and collaborative storytelling processes.
