Amity Law School - On February 28, 2023, the Amity Law School ADR Committee hosted an Industry Expert Interaction Series in the school's Moot Court with more than 100 students. The topic of the workshop was "The Basics of Arbitration and Mediation Law & the Practical Aspect of It." Advocate Anurag Kalavatiya, Managing Partner of Amicus Legal Advocates and Consultants, was the esteemed Chief Guest of Honor and Speaker for the Industry Expert Interaction Series. Prof. (Dr.) Saroj Bohra, Director of Amity Law School, honoured the meeting. During the discussion, Chief Guest discussed the practical realities of arbitration and mediation, including how they are thriving and that many people prefer it to going to Court. At the conclusion of the session, Director Prof. (Dr.) Saroj Bohra congratulated the honourable Chief Guest. The history of arbitration and mediation was a subject that Amity Law School students learnt a lot about. The seminar was made interactive by the students' queries after he educated them on the employment opportunities in arbitration and mediation. Faculty Coordinators for the Industry Expert Interaction Series were Dr. Anumeet Kaur, Assistant professor and Ms. Bhawna, Assistant Professor. The student coordinators for this event were the members of Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee.
