Message from HOI
At Amity School of Engineering and Technology, we impart quality education in the fields of engineering and technology to engineering aspirants so that they can improve, innovate, and design systems and processes to solve challenges in the future and help create a new and better world of endless possibilities and opportunities. For our engineering students, we provide experiential learning through innovative methods in our state-of-art labs and develop analytical problem-solving skills that are much sought after by the industry. Our engineering programmes are the most advanced and supported by hi-tech labs in robotics and gaming, special-purpose labs for Embedded Systems Development, Digital Image Processing, Microwave Engineering, VHDL programming, VLSI design, Google Sketch Up, SAP 2000, to name a few. In mechanical and civil engineering, we have introduced new courses such as mechatronics, automation, and environmental engineering to make them more contemporary and futuristic. We update our course curriculum continuously and to make our students ready for “Industry 4.0”, we have adopted “Education 4.0”.
Our M.Tech and PhD programmes are housed in advanced research labs that offer training in a variety of specialised courses such as avionics, aero-acoustics, space technology, and nanotechnology, among others. We also ensure that our students get the right industry exposure and follow a rigorous industry-driven curriculum under the guidance of highly qualified distinguished faculty from IIT and NIT who are domain experts with research and industry experience. We have established cutting-edge, industry-sponsored Centres of Excellence in Photonics and Optoelectronics and Finite Element Methods, making engineering education more exciting and future-ready.
The adverse circumstances forced by the COVID-19 pandemic kindled the hidden strength and innovative spirit of the university's work culture and value system. Our robust IT infrastructure ensured the conduct of online classes with practically no delay. We have seamlessly adopted a blended system of teaching using many modern-day ICT tools such as learning management system, virtual labs, recorded lectures, etc.
