Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) Lucknow campus is a state-of-the-art adjunct campus of Amity University Uttar Pradesh Noida, a NAAC A+ graded university with accreditation from WASC (USA) and a quality mandate from QAA (UK).
It was established in 2004 with a vision to nurture talent in various streams of technology and create technocrats with world-class standards and global employability. It is one of the few institutions in the country where engineering programmes are accredited by the IET (UK). ASET was recently ranked 32nd by NIRF as the 9th best engineering college in the North Zone and the 16th best college in the country in the 'Dataquest Survey 2021'. We are a prestigious institute that provides B.Tech., M. Tech., and Ph.D. degrees in electronics, computer science, and civil and mechanical engineering.
Our objective is to create engineers who can innovate, design, and improve systems and processes to solve future challenges and help create a new and better world of endless possibilities and opportunities with engineering acumen and value-based education. Our engineering programmes are the most advanced and supported by hi-tech labs in Robotics and Gaming, Embedded Systems Development, Digital Image Processing, Microwave Engineering, VHDL programming, VLSI design, Google SketchUp, SAP 2000, Fluid Mechanics, and Environmental Engineering to name a few. Keeping up with industry 4.0 requirements, we have updated our courses to Education 4.0 and have recently commenced B.Tech. courses in IoT and AI and M.Tech. in Environmental Engineering, Computer Network and Information Security, and Mechatronics. We have established industry-supported centers in Photonics & Optoelectronics and Finite Elements Methods to provide our students with live consultancy projects and research exposure. The school prides itself on setting very high academic standards and unique pedagogy. We offer advanced facilities such as mandatory foreign business language courses (German, French, and Spanish), a choice-based credit system, and global exposure through the Study Abroad Program and the 3 Continent Program. We have been proactive rather than reactive to the situation forced upon us due to the COVID-19 pandemic-related restrictions. We were able to switch to online delivery of classes within 2 days of the imposition of the lockdown in March 2020. Our faculty quickly adapted to the latest ICT tools to effectively deliver the content to the students. We have our own Amity Learning Management System, which is used for content sharing as well as conducting evaluations, etc. Virtual Labs are used to simulate practicals. In order to gainfully engage students and enhance their personal, managerial, and professional skills and improve their psychological well being, a series of webinars and online guest lectures were organised by eminent speakers comprising senior faculty from IITs, institutes of national eminence, and leading academicians, researchers, and professionals, industry experts across the globe.
