Amity University Mumbai Organizes 4th International Hybrid Conference BSRI-CIP II

 The event commenced with opening remarks by hon’ble Offg. Director and HoI, Prof. (Dr.) Bhawna Sharma. She introduced the theme of the conference and mentioned the potential that India’s manufacturing sector has, to become self-reliant. Ma’am added that, “The quest for self-reliant nation starts with one’s determination”.

 
Following this, our hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) A. W. Santosh Kumar appreciated Amity Business School and our efforts while adding how we are moving towards excellence. He also presented 4Is for students of Amity Business School as Involved, Innovative, Integrated, and Invincible.
 
Dr. Pushpendu Rakshit Sir referred to this event in his introductory remarks as another feather to the legacy of ABS. Having one of the largest organizing teams or creating one of the largest rangolis at Amity University Mumbai are just two examples of the new benchmarks that Sir highlighted that Amity Business School students have achieved.
 
Conference was bestosed by Dignatories such as Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Vijay Kumar Dahima, Deam Student welfare Dr. Gautam Gawli, Dean Academics, Dr. Shrikant Charhate, Dean Research, Dr. P Suprassana and Registrar AUM - Dr. Hira Vyas. After this, we had launch ceremony of Multi Authored Edited Book ‘Prospective and Reflections in Business Dynamics’, ABS Book ‘Case studies on Business, Society and Ethics, ABS Textbooks ‘Fundamentals of Accounting’, ‘Software Project Management’ and ‘International Trade and Business Management’. Following the launch we had unveiling of new editions of ABS e newsletter – Business Quotient 4.0, ABS Magazine ‘Pratibimb’, and Amipreneur.
 
Next we heard our first international keynote speaker from Australia, Dr. Pritam Shah. He talked about different types of cyber-attacks like Mumbai Power Attacks, Email Phishing, Instant Message Attacks, Smishing and Banking Trojan. Later, Dr. Geetha Subramaniam, Dr. Song Kouk Thong and Dr. Sangeeta Arulappan each delivered a keynote address. 
 
Following that, researchers and students presented their research papers on Track 1: Banking and Financial Management, Track 2: Inclusivity in Management, Track 3: Paradigm Shifts in Business, Media, and Social Development and Track 4: Trade and Economy. Best research papers in the categories of research and student were also announced.
 
Panel discussion on the topic - Self Reliance 'Bringing a Change for Better Tommorow' was help in virtual presence of all global delegates from difference parts of world. The ceremony was concluded by a musical performance by the Amity Business School Surbhi team honouring India's rich culture.
 
Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) A W Santhosh Kumar said Amity Business School is bringing all positive energy to AUM by organizing this international conference. This is an another feather in the hat of Amity Business School.
 
Offig. Director and HOI Prof. (Dr.) Bhawna Sharma said that this conference is an best practice to gather together academia and corporate. Also empahsising on the theme vocal to local for better practices in self reliance.
