Amity University Jharkhand organizes Skit-Knit – A Skit Contest
Amity University, Jharkhand, Dec 19th: Amity University, Jharkhand, on Wednesday, organized “Skit-Knit”-A Skit Contest in association with the ‘Chanakya Society’, under Amity School of Economics, to bring out the students’ acting skills. Mr.Ankur Chakraborty, a renowned filmmaker of the city was invited to be the Chief Guest of the event.
The contest began with the address of the dignitaries. “It gives me immense pleasure to see you host such a program despite your busy schedules”, said the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Sir, Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Jha. He appreciated the students for their noteworthy effort and encouraged them to host such programs in the future. “It is the dream of our Honorable Founder President Prof.(Dr.) Ashok Kumar Chauhan to make every student a success story and the Chanakya Society is an effort in this direction. I am really glad to be a part of it”, said respected Director Sir, Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Pandey. While addressing the gathering, he motivated the students to inculcate the qualities of team-work and coordination. “I extend my best wishes to the students and hope that they perform well”, said Mr. P.K. Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand. He encouraged the students to participate and perform exceptionally well.
The students actively participated in the contest and presented several skits with important social messages. The audience was entertained to the core at the end of the performances. The event was a grand success made possible by the active participation of the teachers and students.
