As the name of the club, Turing Nash Club of Mathematics, suggests, it is an amalgamation of multiple thoughts. Alan Turing was a great mathematician and a computer scientist, and John Nash was a great mathematician and economist. The confluence of Mathematics, Economics and Computer Science will bring beautiful innovative results. This event is proposed as a purely mathematical and scientific event. The students will learn about the great scientists of our era and their proposed theorems and ideas.
Achieved Outcome
A number of students and faculty members actively participated in the event and their involvement in mathematical and logical activities was extremely encouraging. The two invited talks conducted during the event aroused the interest of the entire audience and the event saw active participation. Both the talks were participatory and interactive in nature. The participants actively took part in the small mathematical quizzes posed by the speakers. The aim of promoting mathematical and logical temperament amongst the students was achieved to a large extent.
